A smoke free-home and the Winter season
____________________________________
According to the New York City Health Department, 90% of NYC homes are smoke-free (1).
Then , 10% of NYC homes are not smoke-free or maybe house owners are considering the challenge of getting a smoke-free-house. Tobacco smoke contaminates the indoor air at home, and during the Winter season tobacco exposure is even greater. Why? Because some people at these houses have all the windows completely close, and the concentration of tobacco smoke is greater and stays longer time than in houses well ventilated.
